2011 Japanese Tohoku Earthquake and Tsunami (63/64)

Salvaged tatami mats are stacked to dry among ruined buildings and personal items in the debris of Ishinomaki city in Miyagi prefecture, Japan Friday May 6th 2011. Ishinomaki bore the brunt of the magnitude 9 earthquake that struck the Tohoku coast on March 11th and the town was almost completely destroyed by the large tsunami that followed the quake 20 minutes later
