Occupy tokyo eviction
Activist, Cheiko Shiina talks to protesters at an anti-nuclear power demo and occupy Tokyo protest outside the Ministry of the Economy, Trade and Industry (METI) in Tokyo, Japan. Friday 27th January 2012. The protest has been running from September 2011 and was scheduled for forcible eviction by police at 5pm on January 27th as the camp had been declared a fire risk by Minister Yukio Edano, with around 500 supporters and protesters turning up to resist the eviction however the camp was still in place the night of the 27th.
