Omoide Yokocho

Omoide Yokocho or Welcome Alley is a collection of small rough built bars and izakaya restaurants in a small alley in Shinjuku. Popular with salarymen or Japanese office workers it also has the nickname "Piss Alley" due to its down at heal appearance. Recently some basic and needed redevelopment has made the area popular with couples and tourists looking for somewhere with a little character to have a drink. Shinjuku, Tokyo, Japan.
