Former Japanese Air Self Defense Force (JASDF) Chief of Staff, Toshio Tamogami, campaigns for election as Tokyo Governor. Shibuya, Tokyo, Japan. Friday, January 17th 2014. Tamogami was forced to resign his position as a general in the JASDF when he wrote a essay questioning the accepted history of Japan's aggression in the 1930s and 40s. He leads the right-wing pressure and political group, Ganbare Nippon and is supported in his gubernatorial bid by nationalist former governor, Shintaro Ishihara.
