March 11th 2011 earthquake effects in Tokyo

A worker stack nearly empty shelves in a convenience store in Shinjuku as people leave the city or stock up on emergency rations and stay indoors after a magnitude 9 earthquake and large tsunami hit the Tohoku region of north east Japan on March 11th killing nearly 20,000 people and causing massive destruction along the whole coast, and a melt-down at the Fukushima Daichi nuclear power station.
