New Ginza Line platform at Shibuya Station
Commuters and tourists on the platform of the new Ginza line station in Shibuya, Tokyo, Japan. Thursday January 9th 2020. The new Ginza Line station opened on January 3rd 2020. Daily about 220,000 people use the Ginza Line at Shibuya Station but no major renovation work on the station had been carried out since it opened in 1938.
Work for the station move began from 2009 as part of major redevelopment projects in the surrounding area.
