Sugamo


A woman washes the Arai kannon statue in an effort to cure sickness at Togan-ji temple in Sugamo, Tokyo, Japan. Tuesday, November 24th 2009. Sugamo is affectionately known as the old lady Harajuku, in reference to the Mecca for youth fashions in the South of Tokyo, and is a popular place for Tokyo's increasingly aged population.
