Union Activists stage demonstrate in Central Tokyo

An activist carries a banner calling for the release of Fumiaki Hoshino who was arrested in 1975 for the alleged killing of a police officer during riots in Tokyo and sentenced to life imprisonment at a rally organized by Doro Chiba labour union to protest the outsourcing of what they consider essential safety and repair work and fight against rationalization of JR (Japan Railways) business. They also protested for the reinstatement of 1,047 national railway workers who lost their jobs in 1987. Shibuya, Tokyo, Japan Saturday, February 13th 2010
