Evacuation towers built to help people escape from future tsunamis in Ishinomaki, Miyagi, Japan. Thursday March 10th 2016. This year marks the 5th anniversary of the Great East Japan Earthquake which struck at 2:46pm on March 11th 2011 levelling much of the Tohoku coast and causing the deaths of around 18,000 people.
