Sanja Matsuri in Asakusa


A young woman dressed as Geisha take part in the Daigyoretsu or Grand on first day of the three-day Sanja Matsuri, Asakusa, Tokyo, Japan. Friday May 18th 2018. The Sanja matsuri, or festival, takes place over the third weekend of May in the streets around the famous Senso-ji Temple. It lis one of the biggest festivals in Japan and lasts for three days (May 18th to May 20th ) with parades of large mikoshi, or portable shrines, carried around the streets by crowds of supporters
