Leader of the Japanese Communist Party, Shii Kazuo speaks to several thousand people gathered outside the Prime Minister's house and in front of the Diet building in Tokyo to protest against nuclear power. Nagatacho Tokyo, Japan. Friday August 10th 2012. Protests have been held every Friday from 6pm to 8pm since March 2012 and participants have been growing in number as Prime Minister Noda carries out his policies of restarting Japan's nuclear reactors. All japan's nuclear reactors were shut down for safety checks after the Fukushima accident on March 11th 2011
