Display of Koinobori, carp-flags, for Children's Day at Tokyo Tower


A display of 333 Carp Flags, called Koinobori, flying at Tokyo Tower in celebration of Children's Day, Tokyo, Japan. Monday April 22nd 2019. Children's' Day is held on May 5th each year. Families decorate their houses with these carp-shaped flags to celebrate the health and growth of their children. This display of 333 carp-flags (the number of metres in the height of Tokyo Tower) runs from March 29 to May 6.
