Tsunami effects in Sendai


Graves damaged by the tsunami in the ruined landscapes of Shimo Masuda, near Sendai airport. Residents had 30 minutes to flee the tsunami after a magnitude 9 earthquake struck off the coast on March 11th leveling the town killing large numbers of people. Shimo Masuda, Sendai, Miyagi, Japan.
